Corsica is a n island that neither of us had been to before. It is the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and, as one might expect, there were frequent references to him together with a huge statue in the main park. It was a pleasant place but not really worthy of a second visit as far as we were concerned. We did, however, notice Australian native plants growing there, in particular the Crimson Calistemon, or Crimson Bottlebrush as it is usually known. It is one of my favourite plants. | ||
